Haum Mission
In 2021 we were approached by a Queer owned yoga studio that was about to open in a legendary yoga space on 16th Street near the BART Station. Our intention was to create two murals in the neutral gender bathrooms that were androgynous, positive and calming. Our proposals play with the geometric shapes of Simon Malvaez signature style while using the colors of the new yoga business called HAUM. Dream Boys
Located in a private house in the heart of the Mission District, also known as the latino neighborhood, our client -Queer couple who has lived in the house for many years, wanted to have a mural that could represent comfort and the feeling of a safe place. A place where you could be yourself and not afraid of being vulnerable. It is called “Dream boys” because the client wanted us to paint a representation of what this house has been for them: a Cozy Dream. “Dream Boys” Acrylic Approx 210 sqft San Francisco CA August 2021 Collaboration with Simon Malvaez
