AACI 50th
AACI is an organization founded in 1973 to serve and support marginalized and ethnic communities in Santa Clara County. Three artists submitted proposals and I was selected to paint these four ageless/raceless hands overlapping and interconnected. All four hands coming from different angles but coexisting and interacting with each other. A mural about Humanity, Inclusivity, Diversity, Community, Love and Support. college Latinx LGBTQIA mural school
The title of this mural is "To Be Seen" and is located at the HUB-Robeson Center on the staircase that connects the Paul Robeson Cultural Center to the Gender Diversity Center. The idea was to portray characters with as many ethnic and cultural backgrounds as possible so students could relate to the narrative in the mural. La Frontera
This mural titled "Joteria en la Frontera" was commissioned by an organization called EBGTZ in their fight for Health Equity and prevention of HIV in the Latino Community of the Bay Area. The mural is hosted by an amazing Latinx Club called La Frontera where they support transgender and Drag queens performers. “Lights, Camera, Action” is the title of this mural for OASIS ARTS and Drag Laurate D’arcy Drollinger. A space designed for filming movies, tv sets and performing arts. This mural is a collaboration of San Francisco artists Serge Gay Jr., Elliott C. Nathan, J Manuel Carmona, Simon Malvaez and Christopher McCutcheon.
