This residential mural titled “Missionary” was our first experience painting in a stairwell for a very Queer home in the Mission District. The mural depicts several bodies celebrating sexuallity and gender roles. The biggest challenge in this project was the narrow staircase and the limited space. The colors and imagery wrapped around the space create a unique experience entering the house.
