Titled “Lights, Camera, Action”, this mural continues the artistic celebration of San Francisco’s vibrant queer community, following the work previously created for OASIS SF. Commissioned for OASIS ARTS and San Francisco Drag Laureate D’Arcy Drollinger, the mural honors a space dedicated to film, television production, and the performing arts—a creative hub where queer expression shines both on and off screen.
This collaborative work brings together the visions of San Francisco artists Serge Gay Jr., Elliott C. Nathan, J Manuel Carmona, Simón Malvaez, and Christopher McCutcheon. Through bold color, movement, and symbolism, Lights, Camera, Action pays tribute to the power of performance, storytelling, and the enduring legacy of Drag and Queer creativity in San Francisco.
