In 2019 I was the winner of a local art contest and was commissioned to paint San Francisco’s newest “Painted Lady,” a large mural on iconic Alamo Square. Adjacent to the world famous “Painted Ladies,'' this mural is about Women Empowerment, and a tribute to the fight that has taken place in San Francisco for Equality, Diversity and Free Love through the past 50 years and earlier.
This mural aimed to raise funds for the GLBT Historical Society and their quest for a new larger museum space here in San Francisco.
